Where to Eat

Our Recommendations for the best eating and drinking establishments in Niseko:
STEAK ROSSO ROSSO

The best value fine dining experience in Niseko with not just steak on the menu.  Rosso Rosso's proprietor Tsutusmi san has produced a Japanese Fusion menu to accomodate all tastes, vegetarians and kids.  This is where we go to treat ourselves or take friends and family to show off the best of Niseko cuisine . The bacon wrapped Hokkaido scallops are not to be missed.  Online bookings or call 0136 21 71000

EZO SEAFOOD
Ezo Seafoods is a Seafood Shop and Oyster Bar that sources directly from select coastal markets and fishermen around Hokkaido, to ensure freshness, best quality and best prices. Visit the shop in Momiji-Zaka Street, order online for home delivery or call 0132 22 3019
HANAYOSHI
Well worth the trip to Niseko Town. It's simply the best quality and best priced sushi in the area.  Don't miss the seafood salad and if you only get the small size you will be fighting for your share.  Closed Monday bookings are essential 0136 44 3444.
A-BU-CHA 2
A-Bu-Cha 2 is the perfect place for a family meal.  The extensive modern Japanese menu has something for everyone, even the kids who don't like Japanese.  All the Hot Pots on the menu are sensational.  Bookings are essential drop in or telephone 0136 22 5620.
YAKATORI YOSAKU
Mind your step when you enter this quientessential Japanese Yakatori tucked under the Tamashii Bar.  Yakatori is essentially bite size pieces of meat and vegetable skewered and BBQ'd, served with a selection of salts and sauces.  The asparagus wrapped in bacon is great.
BLO*BLO GYOZA BAR
Clearly the coolest bar in the village.  Its a cosy intimate space with an eclectic mix of Japanese and Chinese ephemeral art and luscious interior decorations.  Specialising in cocktails and gyoza Blo Blo has one of the best recipes for hot gluewien in Niseko. You will find it hiding under Blowhard Lodge, the downhill side of the Alpen Hotel. It's a must before you leave and say hi to Tom for us.

Kabuki 1 & Kabuki 2

Kabuki 1 offers both Teppanyaki and Okonomiyaki. Our ‘make-it yourself’ Okonomiyaki is the hands down favourite amongst diners. You have the opportunity to add excitement to your meal by cooking on your own Teppan (hotplate).

Kabuki 2 is a full service healthy Teppan-Yaki where you can watch our skillful ‘Iron Chef’ prepare your dinner right before your eyes, using the best locally sourced fresh produce from Hokkaido.

 Wabi Sabi
Wabi Sabi is a Japanese Restaurant/Cafe that offers the option of dine in Take-out or Delivery .

Located at Australia House, opposite the Secomart, Wabi Sabi serves Donburi cooked by experienced Japanese cooks who use their passion to produce a selection of fresh meat, seafood and vegetables which are carefully cooked over a charcoal fire. They will ensure that you leave Wabi Sabi with a world of new experiences in Japanese food.
